**Job Description**
Columbia University’s Mortimer B. Zuckerman Mind Brain Behavior Institute conducts groundbreaking research to advance the understanding of the brain and its influence on the mind and behavior. The institute’s mission is to decipher the mind and brain to better understand behavior, focusing on foundational science in brain development, function, and recovery. This role, located in the Bendesky Lab, supports research developing genetic manipulation tools to study neuroscience and evo-devo questions in Betta fish. The position is a full-time, grant-funded role, offering a stepping-stone for further education, including PhD programs, and provides an opportunity to develop a research project and learn multiple research techniques.
