**Job Description**
The Department of Biobehavioral Health seeks a part-time Research Technologist to assist Dr. Idan Shalev’s lab. The lab’s research focuses on identifying mechanisms underpinning the biological embedding of stress and its effect on biological aging across the lifespan. The role involves performing laboratory assays, processing samples, managing lab inventory, maintaining participant databases, and assisting with general administrative laboratory procedures.

• Ability to manage multiple simultaneous tasks
• Attention to detail
• Expertise in DNA and RNA extractions from multiple tissues (preferred)
• qPCR analysis (preferred)
• Knowledge in statistical software (SPSS, SAS, R) (ideally)
