**Job Description**
The Research Senior Associate will design, execute, and manage research projects focused on medical imaging technology and applications within a biomedical science research laboratory in the Department of Radiology, Division of Imaging Sciences. This role involves collaborating with the Principal Investigator to develop study goals, conceptualizing and executing complex biomedical imaging experiments, planning advanced imaging protocols, overseeing data processing and analysis, developing new methodologies, and performing critical literature analysis. Responsibilities also include preparing research papers, presenting findings at conferences, assisting with grant proposals and budget management, ensuring laboratory safety, and training/supervising research staff.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Expertise in experimental design and execution for biomedical imaging.
• Proficiency in advanced imaging protocols and procedures.
• Strong data processing and analysis skills.
• Ability to develop and implement new research imaging methodology and techniques.
• Critical analysis of scientific literature.
• Scientific writing and presentation for publications, grants, and conferences.
• Grant budget development and management.
• Knowledge and enforcement of laboratory safety procedures (OSHA, local, state, federal).
• Training and supervisory skills for research staff.

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Biological/Health Science
• Medical Degree
Other:
• A Master’s degree in an appropriate biological/health science or Medical Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• A Doctoral degree in an appropriate biological/health science field is desirable.

**Experience**
Experience Required:
• 3-5 years of relevant experience
Other:
• Considerable experience in a biological/health research capacity is required.
• Successful completion of a background check.
• Pre-employment physical and drug screen may be required.
