**Job Description**
REQUIMTE is seeking a Ph.D.-holding researcher to join the project “Phage Sensors Integration for Rapid Profiling of Nosocomial Respiratory Tract Infections and Antimicrobial Resistance Genes.” The primary objective is to develop a rapid bacteriophage-based and culture-independent point-of-care (POC) device for profiling nosocomial bacteria in respiratory tract infections. This position is a full-time, temporary role funded by FEDER and FCT/MECI.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Laboratory work involving pathogenic bacteria and bacteriophages
• Molecular biology techniques, with a focus on isothermal amplification methods such as LAMP and RPA
• Development and application of analytical methods for complex matrices, particularly clinical samples

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Biotechnology or a related area

**Experience**
Experience Required:
• Minimum of 5 original scientific articles indexed in Scopus or Web of Science databases
Other:
• Foreign doctorate degrees must comply with Decree-Law no. 341/2007 of October 12th provisions and formalities
