**Job Description**
The Researcher will perform experiments and participate in research investigating the mechanisms by which glial cells communicate with neurons to shape neural circuit development, function, and complex behaviors. The work specifically focuses on understanding the neural circuit and immune basis of repetitive behaviors, anxiety, and social behaviors, investigating molecular mechanisms that mediate and modulate these complex behaviors in typically developing individuals and those with neurodevelopmental disorders. In conjunction with the lab team, the Researcher will also study the impact of environmental toxins, microbiome, maternal stress, and maternal immune activation on neural-glia communication and how differences in communication lead to Autism and Autism spectrum disorders.

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Related field (Master’s degree)

Preferred Degree(s) in:
• Biological sciences (Ph.D.)
Preferred fields:
• Neuroscience
• Bioengineering sciences

**Experience**
Experience Required:
• 2 years of relevant experience (with Master’s degree)
Other:
• 5-7 years of lab research experience (preferred)
• Successful survival surgeries on mice
• Mouse behavioral experiment
• Mouse handling experience
