Sr. Staff Research Assistant

**Job Description**
OU Health Stephenson Cancer Center, Oklahoma’s only National Cancer Institute (NCI)-Designated Cancer Center, is seeking a Senior Staff Research Assistant. This position involves providing essential assistance to research staff through collecting and analyzing data, maintaining comprehensive records, conducting literature and technical research, and preparing various reports. The role may also include supervision of other research personnel.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Working knowledge of how to handle biohazard materials or chemicals following Federal, State, and University regulations and guidelines.
• Detail-oriented.
• Experience with patient recruitment (preferred).
• Ability to analyze data and keep records.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Ability to supervise research technicians or assistants.

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Biological Science
• Chemistry
• • Physical Science
• Related field

**Experience**
Experience Required:
• 24 months research laboratory experience (with Bachelor’s Degree)
Other:
• 48 months equivalent experience in Biological Science, Chemistry, Physical Science, or related fields may substitute for the Bachelor’s degree, totaling 72 months combined research assistant and/or technician experience.
