**Job Description**
This Postdoctoral Research Assistant position invites applications for research focused on cosmic microwave background physics, cosmology, galaxy formation, numerical astrophysics, survey science, early universe, and gravitational physics. The successful candidate will be expected to develop a personal research program in theoretical cosmology, which may include numerical modelling and/or data analysis, while interacting with faculty members and actively participating in the academic life of BIPAC and the Physics Department. The role also provides an opportunity to teach.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Good programming experience
• Enthusiasm for coding and data analysis
• Ability to work in a large collaboration
• Experience of contributing to publications and/or presentations
• Ability to contribute new ideas for research projects and research income generation

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Physics (doctorate or close to obtaining)
• Related field (doctorate or close to obtaining)

**Experience**
Other:
• Strong background in Physics or Astrophysics (ideal)
• Previous experience in Cosmology, Computational Astrophysics, Early Universe or Gravitational Physics (advantage)
