**Job Description**
The Center for Big Data in Finance (BIGFI) is seeking student assistants to support research through data collection and cleaning, calculations, model implementation, and information retrieval, offering insights into a potential research career or a stepping stone for PhD programs.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Knowledge of Financial Economics, Mathematics, Probability, and Statistics
• Experience working with data
• Proficiency in model implementation software (e.g., Excel, Stata, Matlab, R, Python, SAS)
• Ability to achieve top grades (10 or 12, or international equivalent) in relevant subjects
• Excellent communication skills in both written and oral English
• Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., R, Python)
• Familiarity with databases (e.g., WRDS, CRSP, Compustat)
**Qualifications**
Required:
• Enrolled student at a Danish institution in higher education or a professional bachelor program
