The Temporary Research Assistant will support lab research activities within the Pediatric Population Science Department, focusing on improving psychosocial outcomes for youth and families, including siblings, impacted by pediatric cancer and sickle cell disease. Responsibilities include engaging in various research activities such as collecting, managing, and analyzing data, as well as drafting written reports for manuscripts and grant proposals.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Effective oral and communication skills.
• Computer literate with proficiency and working knowledge of database and reporting tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, public health, or other life/medical science related fields
**Experience**
Other:
• Preferred: At least one year of experience in behavioral science research.
