Temporary Student Research Assistant (Part-Time)

**Job Description**
The Temporary Student Research Assistant will provide support within the Medicine Department at the New Jersey Medical School. Key responsibilities include assisting with data collection and analysis, coordinating with collaborating drug treatment centers, revising and editing survey instruments, reviewing and entering data, creating and integrating datasets from multiple sources, reviewing records, editing manuscripts, and performing related research and administrative tasks to improve human health through research initiatives.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Excellent writing skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent quantitative skills
• Computer literate with working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of SAS® Software (strongly preferred)

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Biology
• Public Health
• Biomedical Science
• Premedical Studies
• Related field (currently enrolled Rutgers undergraduate or graduate student)

**Experience**
Experience Required:
• Previous experience as a research assistant on cohort studies of drug users, or the equivalent
Other:
• Current New Jersey driver’s license (strongly preferred)
• Own auto with current insurance (strongly preferred)
