**Job Description**
The Temporary Student Research Assistant (Part-Time) will support research activities within the Medicine Department, New Jersey Medical School. Responsibilities include assisting with data collection and analysis, coordinating with external drug treatment centers, revising survey instruments, reviewing and entering data, creating datasets, integrating data from multiple sources, reviewing records, and editing manuscripts, along with other related research and administrative tasks.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Excellent writing skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent quantitative skills.
• Computer literate with working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of SAS® Software (strongly preferred).
• Current New Jersey driver’s license and own auto with current insurance (strongly preferred).
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Biology
• Public Health
• Biomedical Science
• Premedical Studies
• Related field
**Experience**
Other:
• Previous experience as a research assistant on cohort studies of drug users, or the equivalent, is required.
