**Job Description**
The Department of Counseling, Recreation, and School Psychology at Florida International University is seeking an undergraduate Research Assistant to join a research team. This temporary, hourly-paid position involves assisting with a study that evaluates the effectiveness of a 4-week Heart Rate Variability biofeedback intervention. The intervention aims to reduce stress, optimize emotion regulation, and alleviate anxiety-related symptoms in young adults from historically underrepresented racial and ethnic backgrounds with a family history of cardiovascular disease. The Research Assistant will perform various research tasks, receive training in new skill areas, and have the opportunity to contribute to publications as an author.

**Qualifications**
� Currently enrolled as a student at Florida International University (FIU).
� Undergraduate students must maintain a minimum of six (6) credits during Fall and Spring semesters.
� Graduate students must maintain a minimum of three (3) credits during Fall and Spring semesters.
� Must remain enrolled (no credit hour requirement) during Summer semesters.
� Subject to a pre-employment criminal background check.
