**Job Description**
This position seeks a motivated undergraduate researcher to assist in USDA-funded research focusing on plant-insect interactions. The role involves studying how plant-feeding insects influence gene expression in Brassica oleracea (broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, etc.), utilizing molecular biology, chemistry, and microscopy methods. The position is paid and expected to involve up to 10 hours per week during the school year, with potential for up to 40 hours per week during the summer.

• Comfortable working independently
