**Job Description**
The DFG-funded Collaborative Research Centre (CRC) 1372 “Magnetoreception and Navigation of Vertebrates” at the University of Oldenburg offers short-term fellowships for master’s degree holders and Ph.D. candidates. These fellowships are intended to foster external collaboration by allowing excellent external researchers to work within the CRC framework, contributing to a comprehensive, multidisciplinary understanding of magnetoreception and vertebrate navigation from biophysical mechanisms to natural animal behavior.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Excellent master’s degree or equivalent, related to topics of the CRC, obtained outside of the future host institution
• Proficiency in English
• Ability to develop a convincing research idea within the subject area of the CRC
• Motivation to participate in the workshops and seminars organized by the integrated research training group (IRTG)
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Biological sciences
• Neurosciences
• Physics
• Computer science
• Other fields related to the CRC (Master’s or Ph.D. level)
**Experience**
Other:
• Degree obtained outside of the future host institution
