**Job Description**
The Visiting Researcher will be responsible for performing and analyzing experiments focused on the development and function of novel immune cells. The research explores innate immunity in tissues and the interaction between immune and non-immune cells influencing disease outcomes in airway and brain disorders. The role involves conducting experiments using rodent models, molecular and cellular biology techniques, maintaining a mouse colony, assisting with ongoing research projects, ordering supplies, participating in lab meetings, preparing manuscripts, and aiding in grant applications, including applying for personal grant funding.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Experience in conducting and analyzing scientific experiments involving rodent models.
• Proficiency in molecular and cellular biology techniques, including genotyping, survival surgery, histology, microscopy, electrophysiology, calcium imaging, or coding.
• Strong interests in exploring novel immune cells and the mechanisms of human health and disease.
• Maintain a high level of research competency, knowledge, and skills.

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Related field (Ph.D)
• Related field (DVM)
• Related field (MD)

**Experience**
Other:
• Must pass employee health clearance, TB Test and required safety training.
